Start Speed Dating
It is best to try and arrive a few minutes early. The host will kick off the event
with a brief introduction and explain the process. You will then participate in
a series of mini-dates! Each mini-date will last approximately five minutes. There
will be a short break (typically fifteen minutes) about half-way through the event.
At the conclusion of the event you will provide your matches to the host (on a datecard
provided to you).

Get Your Matches
You will be emailed when your matches are available which is typically the day after
the event. The email will contain a link to your Klique Now Dashboard to view your
matches. Only then will contact information be available (and exchanged).
We encourage both parties to contact each other. After all, you already know the
other person is interested in meeting you!
Speed dating is a form of matchmaking that focuses on meeting a lot of people in
a short period of time.
Participants are rotated to meet each other in a series of short "mini-dates", usually
lasting from 5 to 8 minutes. At the end of each mini-date, the host or hostess signals
when to move on to the next date. At the end of the event participants submit (to
the organizers) a list of who they would like to provide their contact information
to. If there is a match, contact information is forwarded to both parties.
Speed dating has many advantages.
- Instead of meeting one person in a few hours, you will typically meet a dozen.
- You can attend the event with friends, making the experience even more comfortable
for just having someone there with you.
- You do not have a lot of extra time to waste on a candidate that is a complete opposite
of yourself.
- Contact information cannot be traded during the initial meeting, so there is no
pressure to accept or reject.
- You are in total control of who receives, and doesn't receive, your personal information.
- It is easier to compare everyone all at once during the same evening when they are
all fresh in your mind (as opposed to going out on multiple dates on different nights).
- The short dates eliminate "small talk" that typically takes place on a first date.
- Also, for people that feel uncomfortable approaching others in groups, the mini-dates
offer an ideal setting to get acquainted.
- You don't have to rely on a picture from a website or other information that may
not be true.
- As opposed to online dating, there is no substitute for meeting in person.
- Is is a fun and safe alternative to singles tired of the typical bar scene and weary
of blind dates.
There is no surprise why speed dating has become popular.
Speed Dating is more fun when you do it with your friends
